Leonardo Cordero is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Abiquity Inc., where his work is focused on artificial intelligence, business identity infrastructure, entity resolution, and the systems businesses will need to operate effectively in an AI-driven economy. Leonardo spent most of his career building and developing enterprise payment infrastructure through wiSource and The Payments Lab.

Over nearly two decades, his work included payment systems, gateway technologies, and transaction infrastructure used by large organizations operating at national scale. He continues to maintain a leadership role in wiSource Ventures, the investment and venture arm of the wiSource Think Tank, supporting emerging companies and technologies at the intersection of innovation, enterprise infrastructure, and commerce. That experience placed identity, verification, trust, data integrity, and transaction reliability at the center of his work, disciplines that now extend directly into artificial intelligence. His focus is artificial intelligence and the infrastructure businesses will need to be accurately understood and trusted by AI systems.

At Abiquity, Leonardo leads the development of business identity infrastructure designed to give organizations a clear, machine-readable, and durable digital identity. The company’s work spans entity resolution, structured data, information consistency, digital trust, and continuous identity management, helping AI assistants, answer engines, and emerging autonomous agents determine with greater confidence who a business is, what it offers, where it operates, and which information about it is authoritative. This infrastructure is becoming increasingly important as AI systems move beyond providing information and begin participating directly in discovery, recommendations, decision-making, and transactions.

Leonardo’s involvement with artificial intelligence predates the current generative AI era. He previously served as co-founder and Chief Strategy Advisor of Liquid Carrot, an open-source JavaScript framework for building neural networks and machine-learning systems through neuroevolution. He also serves as Chairman of the Florida International University College of Business ATOM Think Tank, where faculty, executives, and emerging business leaders examine how new technologies are reshaping business and commerce.
